Soňa Šerá is a Zoner Photo Studio ambassador whose specialty is unique portraits with an emphasis on artistic expression. Her work is characterized by black and white photos, interesting poses, chiaroscuro lighting, minimal retouching, and minimalism. However, she doesn’t shy away from color photography, especially when it comes to her own cooking and baking.

Lucie Drlíková is a versatile photographer whose talents include painting and sewing. She creates incredible props for her projects, which she calls “food for my soul.” She is a photographer and videographer that specializes in underwater photography. She has won many awards and her work has been exhibited all over the world. She comes from Veselí nad Moravou, a small town in the southern Moravian region of the Czech Republic. She spent many years working in Prague and now resides in a small home outside Prague.

František Konopa is a promising young photographer and the artist behind many works of portrait photography filled with unique stories. His work is a reaction to contemporary Czech photography, which, in his own words, didn’t have much added value for him. In his photography, František likes to capture emotions and everyday real stories, including the almost unreal ones.

“Now look this way, please. Smile, put your hand here.“ A person is willing to go through quite a lot to get a nice picture of themselves. We were interested in what models think about the photography process. To find out, we did some research. Just like a customer satisfaction survey is part of the buying process, we reached out to several models and asked them about their recent experiences during photoshoots. We asked how they felt about it at the time and how they feel about it now. What they liked and didn’t like. The results of the survey surprised us, and unfortunately, not in a positive way.

The word “glamour” invokes beauty, allure, and charisma. Boudoir photography shows us the world of a woman in an intimate setting. Both boudoir and glamour photography can be easily confused, especially for beginners. In this interview, we spoke about the topic of glamour photography with Zoner Photo Studio X ambassador Tereza Buchalová. Tereza also shares how she edits her photos before submitting them to her clients.

He started with horror make-up, but over time he created a unique signature through his terrifying handmade masks. Slovak photographer Peter Murín has seen all kinds of reactions to his odd hobby, from recommending the psych ward to sending passages from the Holy Writ. But that didn’t scare him, so today he can pride himself on photos in many magazines and customers all the way to the USA.

When he’s not on a mountain climbing expedition or tracking wildlife in their natural habitat, you’ll find him “hunting” for the right shot in the forest. Adam Simandel dedicates himself to a relatively nontraditional genre of photography – hunting photography. As he himself admits, he’s almost always one misstep away from danger. Despite that, he surprisingly compares hunting photography to wedding photography. Take a look at his intriguing images and allow yourself to be pulled into his story. Whether you call Adam adventurous or just plain crazy, one thing is for sure – there’s no place for boredom in his life. 

Kevin Bruseby is a 17 year old Swedish photographer and also one of Zoner Photo Studio's ambassadors. His Instagram profile is filled with images that have captured the attention of a solid crowd. His interest in Meteorology has brought him the relationship with his camera and hunting for shots (but not only) in the fog and mist is his favorite within his native land. Good food and beautiful photos are definitely dear to our hearts too, and so we’ve asked Svatava a few questions. Martin Stranka recently held the grand opening for his retrospective exhibition “Dechem” (“With Breath”) at Prague’s Manes gallery.
